Consulting

Purchase and Sale Due Diligence:

  • A comprehensive review and due diligence assignment was undertaken for the Campbell Heights tentative agreement of sale between the City of Surrey and the purchaser. At the time, the Campbell Heights site was a 250-acre parcel of undeveloped industrial land.

 

Real Estate Strategy and Development Feasibility: 

  • A study was undertaken examining retail strategies, retail types and services, and various development feasibilities for BC Ferries’ Tsawwassen Terminal. The assignment focused on retailing concepts, themes, tenant types, traveller demographics, construction costs, and development pro formas.

 

Site Search and Cost Benefit Analysis: 

  • A report was completed exploring alternative locations and related benefits to assist Simon Fraser University (SFU) with their due diligence and acquisition of the Central City Surrey Campus. Services included contract review, audit of operating costs, risk analysis for non-SFU occupied space, and alternative SFU campus locations in the Fraser Valley.

 

Development Feasibility and Highest and Best Use Study: 

  • A feasibility study was completed on behalf of a First Nation to develop a 330 acres parcel situated in the Fraser Valley. The study examined the highest and best use of the site, market demand, and competing supply. The value of the site was estimated taking into account infrastructure and related servicing costs.
